The SFA could surprise us all and splash the cash on a top coach and someone who could help to totally restructure football in this country from top to bottom. Then again it is far more likely they will pick an utter nobody who topped their class at fucking Largs!!
What about our very own Jiffy TB?
He knows the Scottish football scene inside out, knows all the ups and downs of our game, our weaknesses and our strengths.
Don't know if he is worth 'splashing the cash on' but ye never know!!!
Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia are considered as European since belonging to the old URSS (Russia which is actually split in two, European Russia and Asian Russia which lies to the East of the Ural mountains) after the breakup of 1991 these countries were automatically considered as being part of Europe.
Armenia has actually one of the most ancient European histories and cultures.
Kazakhstan is not a European country but belongs to central Asia, it is actually situated on the two continents but it's Western part is mostly desert and sparsely populated.
Cyprus is considered (rightly) to be part of Europe due to it being situated in the Mediterranean sea and and having Greek culture, the island has been split in two since the invasion of Northern Cyprus by Turkey in 1974.
Turkey (the same as Russia) has a small part in Europe and a very large part part in Asia, most Europeans do not consider Turkey as being a part of Europe hence the reluctance to allow it's entry into the European Union, Turkey never the less is a member of NATO.
Israel, geographically speaking should not be considered as a European country, but we all know where denying this fact would lead us.
